Danube Lodge Ybbs

With a direct view of the Danube and the opposite Waldviertel, we welcome you to our Danube Lodge in the heart of the Nibelungengau. The Danube Lodge opened its doors in July 2019 and features impressively spacious, air-conditioned rooms, most of which have balconies or terraces, as well as boasting a unique location right on the Danube Cycle Path, along Europe's longest river. Built in a modern, sustainable wooden style, the Danube Lodge offers free WiFi throughout the building, barrier-free access to all floors, as well as two accessible rooms.

You will find the Danube Lodge and the Babenbergerhof right in the centre and yet surrounded by greenery - close to the main traffic routes, not far from Vienna, Linz, St. Pölten and Krems and yet in the middle of the gentle nature of the Danube valley. You will be at the ideal starting point for exploring our wonderful region, the Nibelungengau.

Since 2009, we have been pampering Ybbs residents, people from the region as well as day-trippers, holidaymakers and business customers in our Babenbergerhof in Ybbs an der Donau, a place worth experiencing and loving.

The ever-growing demand motivated us to build a modern and functional hotel in timber in a unique location. Right next to our Babenbergerhof, right on the Danube and the Danube Cycle Path and yet in the middle of the old town of Ybbs, the Danube Lodge will impress you with its fascinating architecture. Spacious rooms, most with a terrace and an unobstructed view of the Danube, and two functional meeting rooms welcome you to linger. In the light-filled breakfast room, you can gaze out over Europe's longest river and imagine yourself on adventure with the passing ships. Refreshed with delicacies from the region, discover the diverse surroundings or stroll through our medieval Danube city.

We offer our guests e-bike and scooter rental, hiking maps, cycling guides and much more. Our cooperation partners include the leisure centre, which has an indoor swimming pool and sauna, a fitness studio, golf courses and a wine shop. An exercise park right on the Danube is within walking distance and is an inviting place to linger and have fun. The Danube cycle path immediately in front of the building is ideal for running as well as cycling. Due to our proximity to countless monasteries and castles, culture lovers will also enjoy spending their leisure time with us.

In our light-filled breakfast and lounge area you can enjoy a panorama breakfast, as well as cakes, coffee and various snacks throughout the day. In the Babenbergerhof, our a la carte restaurant, we lovingly prepare regional and international delicacies for you.

Meetings, conferences, workshops, lectures and seminars need new inspiration! On Europe's longest river, you can work intensively in our meeting room with a view and direct access to our beautiful garden. Fully equipped technically, the room facilitates communication, creativity and concentration.
