Of herbs and cowbells
What makes the Rettensteinerhof so special? The young landlady Eva Hilbinger doesn't have to think long about that. She and her mother Marianne prepare the dishes with herbs, berries and vegetables from their own garden. After all, the eye eats with you, and a Ybbstaler farmer's salad tastes twice as good finely garnished and heartily served. The inn, which opened in 1900, is a real family business; father Johannes is responsible for the small, fine fleet of buses and cabs. Eva Hilbinger learned her trade in the hotel of Olympic champion Patrick Ortlieb in Lech, among other places. Today she also rents out rooms and produces jams, nut brandy and liqueurs. Biorind from Hohenlehen comes on the table.
Directly at the inn, 3 e-mountain bikes are offered for rent.
