Enchanting city theater with the flair of large stages. Today's municipal theater is located in a former monastery church on Herzog-Leopold-Strasse. The opening of the theater dates back to 1794. It features one of only 3 working Wagnerian curtains left in Europe, as well as an extremely rare working revolving stage. Today, the modernized theater seats 624 spectators while retaining its historic charm. The Iron Curtain was designed by the painter Wolfgang Hutter. The program ranges from children's theater to operettas. The theater can also be rented, and there are also special tours of the theater for children.
