Up with the lift, down with the swing!
The Gemeindealpe Mitterbach is the guarantor for action and fun!

Two modern chairlifts take you safely and comfortably from 800 m to 1,626 m above sea level in summer and winter. Once you have reached the summit, you will be presented with a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains of the Mostviertel and Styria.

The modern and barrier-free mountain restaurant Terzerhaus at 1,622 m has a spacious sun terrace and a guest room with panoramic glazing. Look forward to regional delicacies and the best homemade pastries. An adventure climbing playground with suspension bridge, balancing paths, a coiled tube slide and a "Solstice fire tower" with viewing platform awaits children. At the Terzerhaus also begins the almost 800 m long panoramic circular trail around the summit, which is suitable for baby carriages. Along the way there are several resting places with information boards about the history of settlement around the Ötscher. Wonderful views included!

A special highlight is the descent with the Moutaincarts from the middle station. Over a 4.6 km long gravel track, you can whizz down to the valley in a spirited manner. A large portion of fun is guaranteed here.

In winter, an action-packed snowboarding and skiing paradise with a varied range of activities beckons.
For deep snow specialists, a freeride area awaits in the summit area next to the steepest slope in Lower Austria, and for high-speed fans, a speed track with speed measurement is available. The centerpiece is the snow park, directly at the middle station, equipped with 17 elements, including 15 rails/boxes and two kickers. The Funslope, opened in 2016, ensures joyful and smiling faces in the area of the bottom station.

A stress-free arrival and return journey is promised by the ride on the Mariazellerbahn.
