Edmund Adler Galerie Mannersdorf
Museum
Description
Edmund Adler (1876-1965) discovered the Leithagebirge region as a child, where his family spent the summer months. His attachment to the land and its people led him to settle in Mannersdorf in 1910. From then on, he devoted himself entirely to art.
Over the decades, he produced numerous expressive oil paintings and sketches, which today enjoy international recognition. He was artistically active until the age of 88 - he only put down his brush a few months before his death.
His complete works are owned by the municipality of Mannersdorf and are accessible to the public in the Edmund Adler Gallery.
