Nostalgiepostamt Küb

Not only Payerbach but also the district Küb became a popular destination for guests from the big city after the construction of the Semmering Railway. After the infrastructure in Küb was developed better and better, one also needed a post office. Allegedly, this was even desired by the empress Zita at that time, in order to be able to communicate with a confidante in Küb. So it finally came to the opening of a post office in Küb in 1905. Today, the Nostalgia Post Office is the only historic post office in Austria from the imperial era still preserved and certainly worth a visit!
