Winter tips for families

Where Mom, Dad and Ice Queen Elsa feel at home.

Lower Austria may not offer the highest peaks, but it certainly offers the highest comfort when it comes to family-friendly winter fun. On the numerous beginner slopes, the little rascals can carve their way down to the valley while the hopeless romantics go on a cuddle tour with the llamas. And after a day full of new experiences, our hosts will open their doors and hearts to round off your adventure holiday.

With slopes on the doorstep, the little ones can learn to ski playfully. While parents or grandparents can watch on from their piece of cake and take photos as the little ones start to get the hang of it. And of course a magic carpet is there to sweep the little ones away. In addition to the child-friendly slopes, Lower Austria has very reasonable prices as a winter holiday destination. Of course there’s also a lot going on both on and off the slopes. You can also enjoy this season by building a snowman or tobogganing. And of course you can’t forget a big snowball fight! At least until the adults run out of breath!
