As a founding member of Wirtshauskultur, the Pöllinger family at the Schützenwirt in Langau has been striving to preserve and cultivate traditional Lower Austrian cuisine for 20 years. The focus is on processing local and regional products. The business, which is only a few kilometres away from Ötscher skiing and cross-country skiing area, has made a special name for itself with wonderful game and fish specialities.

The family-run business is located in wooded surroundings in the heart of Ötscherland and has a total of 50 beds. The rooms are equipped with shower/WC, cable TV and some have a balcony. Especially for families the accommodation offers rooms with separate bedrooms (4 - 5 persons) or triple rooms.

In winter, all sports enthusiasts will find a cross-country ski trail entrance right next to the house, and a ski room is available too. A ski bus stop is located directly in front of the accommodation.

In summer, several hiking routes invite to explore the surroundings. The inn itself has a wide range of leisure facilities (heated outdoor pool, tennis court, table tennis, billiards, table football, children's play corner).

Tips: In-house shop with tobacconist; locations for parties and celebrations of all kinds.
