As a family-run business in the Wachau's world of enjoyment, we attach great importance to feeling good at the Hotel zur Post. Our hotel is located in the centre of Melk, Melk Abbey, the pier and the railway station are within easy walking distance.

Enjoy our special delicacies in the beautiful guest garden with the best view of Melk Abbey, in the rustic Poststüberl or in the special rooms of our restaurant: "Barock", "Weinlust" and Donau". We will be happy to spoil you with a sunny breakfast in our arcaded courtyard with many homemade specialities (compotes and jams).
