We have a wonderful place for you to spend your holiday in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel in Unternalb.The farm in Unternalb is located in a former estate of Göttweig Abbey. The historic, baroque buildings and the beautiful courtyard are a jewel in the village of Unternalb - just one kilometre from Retz.

In the morning we will spoil you with a breakfast buffet. We are also happy to stock the fridge for you to serve yourself. You will stay in one of the five cosy double rooms on the first floor (all rooms have their own shower and WC). The rooms are accessible barrier-free via a lift and some have barrier-free sanitary facilities. Whether you are looking for relaxation, or sporting excitement, have a family with younger or older children or senior citizens, we are the ideal holiday destination. A bicycle rental service at the farm makes excursions into the nearby surroundings possible even if you don't have a car and provides inviting opportunities for cycling tours through the picturesque Weinviertel region.
A meeting room is available for retreats, team building or seminars on a small scale. Celebrations and small events can also be organised in the meeting room. Technical equipment is of course available.
Animals such as sheep, alpacas and cattle live on the farm. Guests and children can feed the chickens and pigs or help with the vegetable and herb harvest. A pond, fields, gardens, paddocks and meadows offer plenty of nature. There is also a beach volleyball court in the park.

Family rooms (2 adults + 2 children) can also be booked with us.
An extra bed for children can be provided.

More than just a farm holiday
Caritas has been running the farm in Unternalb as a workshop and residential home for people with disabilities for many years. The holiday programme will also be run by people with disabilities. They work under the guidance of skilled workers in the company and are given a job and qualification here. In addition, we offer accessories and food produced by the day centres for people with disabilities for sale in reception.
