Achau railway station

Train station

Description

The large station facility at the Achau stop is something to behold - in many respects. The 2020 renovation was all about ecology and innovation, so special attention was paid to nature and crossing aids and wildlife passages were taken into account in the planning and implementation of the renovation work. A modern and thoroughly barrier-free environment was created for the railway's guests, offering digital train destination displays and monitor timetables as well as the installation of a ticket vending machine. Glazed lift systems and light-flooded waiting areas on the platforms convey the best possible travel comfort. A number of parking spaces for cars and mopeds as well as the Bike & Ride Station also contribute greatly to a relaxed train journey.
