DIE GARTEN TULLN

GARTEN TULLN is Europe's first ecological garden show. The 70 model gardens are strictly tended according to the criteria of a Lower Austrian initiative devoted to organic gardening (Nature in the Garden).

Visitors can look forward to a host of attractions that promise a diverse and entertaining outing for the whole family. Kids can play to their heart's content in Lower Austria's largest natural adventure playground while the adults stroll through the premises along the orange pathway. You can get so a lot of ideas and inspiration for your own garden at home here. Talk to the onsite garden consultants or simply relax in one of the hammocks or garden swings. The GARTEN TULLN premises are entirely handicapped accessible (including the treetop trail 30 meters above the ground).

About 70 partners of GARTEN TULLN – professional gardeners, nurseries, horticulture institutions, schools and clubs, many of which are from Lower Austria – have joined together in a massive planning and construction effort to create this colorful kaleidoscope of model gardens. 70 special-theme gardens ranging in size from 60 to 800 m2 give you great ideas you can apply in your own garden and are inviting places simply to relax and enjoy.

For a special treat, walk on the treetop trail high above the towering old trees. Perched 30 meters above the ground, the treetop trail consists of a multi-level lookout tower, flights of stairs, and a number of platforms.

Kids love GARTEN TULLN because they have plenty of room to play. The excursion destination is very family friendly with its extensive walkways and numerous attractions. The garden show boasts the country's biggest natural adventure playground with plenty of room and stimulation for imaginative and creative outdoor fun.
