Eichgraben-Altlengbach railway station

The Eichgraben Altlengbach station in the heart of the Lower Austrian Vienna Woods is modern and flooded with light. Elevator systems and guidance systems for the blind ensure accessibility, while the glazed stairways and waiting berths provide a safe and customer-friendly ambience. In addition to the ticket vending machines, the covered bus stop created in the course of the 2016 renovation also provides additional comfort when using the train.

The transfer from car to train is particularly easy thanks to the 315 parking spaces for cars and mopeds in the adjacent Park & Ride. If you want to keep your bike safe during the train journey, you can use one of the almost 20 parking spaces for bikes in the covered Bike & Ride station.

Route information

• The Eichgraben-Altlengbach station, which was completely renovated in 2016, is located along the Westbahn line from Linz to Vienna.
• Regional express trains to Vienna Westbahnhof as well as to St. Pölten main station are served here.
• Express trains of the S50 to Neulengbach and Vienna Westbahnhof are served every half hour.
• Directly from the station forecourt there are connecting buses to St. Christophen, Neulengbach, Tullnerbach, Hainfeld and on to the centre of Eichgraben.

The Cultura Trail Roman Trail leads along ancient paths to tumuli from the 1st century. The exciting trail in the footsteps of the Romans begins in the centre of Eichgraben and encounters fantastic views and extensive insights into ancient goings-on. The Wienerwald Museum, with the reconstruction of a Roman moat in the outdoor area of the museum, as well as a part of the Wienerwald Biosphere Park, name just two of the numerous highlights of this tour.
