Situated just outside the municipality of the same name, Ennsdorf station is located in the Lower Austrian district of Amstetten. Tickets can be purchased conveniently on site at the ticket vending machine, loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices inform passengers about ongoing rail operations.

The Ennsdorf stop is located on the Westbahn line in the western part of Lower Austria.
- Trains of the S1 express line to Linz on the Danube, as well as to St. Valentin, Garsten and Weißenbach-St. Gallen stop here.
- Not far from the station a bus stop offers connections to Pyburg, Enns, Mauthausen and Linz.

Cyclists along the Enns-Danube cycle route cross the picturesque municipality of Ennsdorf on the circular tour via Kleinraming, Steyr, St. Valentin as well as many other municipalities and towns, which, in addition to numerous excursion destinations and sights, also has plenty of culinary highlights to offer.
If you decide to hike along the Way of St. James, you set off from Ennsdorf railway station in a northerly direction, cross the Mauthausen Bridge, and finally reach the historic municipality of Mauthausen to get to the starting point of the 5th stage of the Way of St. James. Although it is a wide path to hike this section via Linz to the Pöstlingberg, it is also a particularly beautiful piece of trail, which also uses the course of the Danube Cycle Path and brings with it numerous vantage points and impressions.
