Bahnhof Frättingsdorf

In the district of Mistelbach, the station Frättingsdorf is located along the Laaer Ostbahn line. On the platform, a wind- and weatherproof waiting bunk made of glass has been set up, in which a ticket vending machine is located. Here you can also find current timetable notices and are well informed about the current rail traffic via loudspeaker announcements. The heated waiting room with sanitary facilities is located in the main building.

Directly connected to the station Frättingsdorf, whose reception building is under monument protection, is also a generously designed Park & Ride facility with space for almost 70 vehicles as well as over 15 parking spaces for bicycles in the Bike & Ride Station.

• Along the Laaer Ostbahn line, regional trains run here to the Westbahnhof station to Vienna and Wiener Neustadt as well as to Laa an der Thaya.
• Regional trains and trains of the Vienna Express Line S7 to Vienna Airport and Laa an der Thaya connect here.
• Trains of the Viennese rapid transit line S2 to Mödling and Laa an der Thaya stop here.
• Directly from the station there are bus connections to the centre of Frättingsdorf and further to Laa an der Thaya and Mistelbach.

Bienenhüter

The lovingly designed excursion destination "Die Bienenhüter" is only a 10-minute walk from Frättingsdorf station. Extensive knowledge about the useful bees is imparted in an entertaining way and in many ways. In addition to an educational bee trail, the show hive and a tasting, the open bee garden offers many other opportunities to learn about the keeping and care of the insects and to enjoy the tranquil garden.
