Grimsing station is located on the eastern edge of the municipality of the same name in the Melk district of Lower Austria. The small, beautifully designed waiting bunk offers passengers protection from wind and weather during the waiting time and is wonderfully embedded in the beautiful landscape of the Wachau region.

- Along the tourist route of the Donauuferbahn, also known as the Wachau Railway, lies the Grimsing stop on demand.
- Trains along the Wachau Railway to Krems on the Danube as well as to Emmersdorf on the Danube stop here when required.
Excursion destination Wachau
A parking lot and thus access to the old Danube branch can be reached in only 3 minutes on foot from the Grimsing stop. Extensive walks along idyllic banks as well as a jump into the cool water promise a relaxing excursion with time-out guarantee.
Since bicycles can be carried free of charge on the trains of the Wachau Railway after prior reservation, one of the numerous cycling tours along the Danube and through the dreamlike Wachau is also an option - here you are guaranteed to find the right mix of nature, sport and culinary delights for every level of difficulty.
