Hofstetten-Grünau train station

The Hofstetten-Grünau on-demand station along the Mariazellerbahn line is located in the Mostviertel region of Lower Austria. The station, which was revitalised in 2015 and is accessible without barriers, provides rail passengers with a waiting room as well as public sanitary facilities.

• Trains on the Mariazellerbahn line to St. Pölten and to Laubenbachmühle station and on to Mariazell are served here as required.

Local history in the station building

In the historic reception building of Hofstetten-Grünau station, the station museum was opened in 2015 after extensive renovation. On a total area of 78m², numerous exhibits on the history of the Mariazell Railway and the Pielach Valley are displayed in the former station building.
