Description

On the route of the Mariazellerbahn in the middle of the Lower Austrian Mostviertel is the demand station Mainburg. A covered waiting area and some parking spaces are provided at the station. Trains of the well-known narrow-gauge railway stop here on request, which can be ordered by means of a control element from the platform.

Route information

  • Trains on the Mariazellerbahn line to St. Pölten and to the Laubenbachmühle station as far as Mariazell are served here.
  • Not far from Mainburg station is a bus stop with connecting buses to Grünau and Neubruck.
