Markersdorf a. d. Pielach train station

In the green Pielach valley, west of the Lower Austrian capital St. Pölten, is the double-tracked station Markersdorf an der Pielach. The two platforms, which are structurally separated from each other, offer a pleasant waiting experience with their covered glass berths. The platforms can be reached safely via an underpass, and a further step towards customer friendliness and comfort was taken with the installation of a ticket vending machine and digital train destination displays.

More than 15 cars and mopeds find a carefree parking space at the connected Park & Ride facility, and space has been created for more than 60 bicycles in the covered Bike & Ride station.

The Pielachtalradweg also passes through Markersdorf an der Pielach on the route from Melk to Loich-Dobersnigg, so you can also start from Markersdorf station. The family-friendly route tours through the picturesque landscapes of the Mostviertel, which offer countless vantage points and many a sight.
