Bahnhof Melk
Train stationDescription
Instead of a ticket counter, Melk station has two ticket machines and a station counter called "Nah&Frisch punkt", where you can buy your train ticket as well as a selection of sandwiches and a cold and hot counter with fresh snacks to take away. In addition, a coffee counter and a small selection of groceries are also part of the Bahnhofsgreißler. The Greißler is open seven days a week and thus also offers a new local supply service. At the station forecourt, there is also an e-charging station in the parking lot on the side of platform 1 near the bicycle parking spaces.
Tip: There is a nextbike rental station at the station. The bikes are available in Lower Austria from April to mid-November. You can find more information on the website https://www.nextbike.at/de/niederoesterreich, or in the nextbike app.
