The Mistelbach station, rebuilt in 2019, is located in the northeastern Weinviertel region. Modernly equipped, with the historic reception building as a backdrop, the barrier-free station presents itself. In addition to the two ticket vending machines installed on site, it is also possible to purchase tickets here at the station from the resident Bahnhofsgreissler. The extended opening hours of the shop offer an additional plus in travel comfort. A waiting room, information monitors and publicly accessible sanitary facilities round off the services offered by the completely revitalised station.
Over 750 parking spaces for cars and mopeds will be made available to rail passengers in the adjoining Park & Ride facility for changing to public transport by train. There is space for more than 150 bicycles in the Bike & Ride station.
Rail connections
- Along the Laaer Ostbahn line, regional and regional express trains run via Vienna Central Station to Vienna West Station and also to Laa an der Thaya.
- Trains of the Vienna rapid transit line S7 run to the Vienna Airport railway station as well as to Laa an der Thaya.
- Trains on the Vienna S2 rapid transit line to Mödling and Laa an der Thaya also connect at the station.
- The bus terminal directly at Mistelbach station offers numerous bus connections to Eibesthal, Poysdorf, Ernstbrunn and St. Pölten.
History
In former times the railway line via Mistelbach from Korneuburg to Hohenau via Ernstbrunn and Mistelbach was run as a local railway. Already in 1988 the daily passenger service on the line, which was opened in two sections, was discontinued.

Nostalgia trips from Mistelbach to Asparn an der Zaya are operated by the Zayataler Schienentaxi and offer a very special train ride experience with the impressive motor coaches. The connection is only a 15-minute walk from Mistelbach station.
