Railway station Silberwald

Silberwald station is located along the Nordbahn line in the Lower Austrian district of Gänserndorf. Covered waiting facilities are located on both platforms, an on-site ticket vending machine allows ticket purchases around the clock. Thanks to loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices, passengers are well informed about ongoing railway operations.

The Park & Ride facility immediately adjacent to the station offers 140 parking spaces for cars and mopeds, while the Bike & Ride station provides parking for almost 190 bicycles.

Rail link

The train station is located on the Kaiser Ferdinand Nordbahn line.

• Trains of the S1 express line stop here every half hour in the direction of Gänserndorf as well as to Vienna Meidling.
• Bus connections to surrounding communities are also available directly from the station.

Railway Museum Strasshof

The Strasshof Railway Museum is only a few minutes' walk from the station. Visitors can expect an extensive collection of locomotives and wagons as well as a lovingly designed model world - of course everything under the motto "Adventure Railway". A very special experience, not only for children, are the organized steam days, during which trips with the nostalgic steam locomotives take place and there is the possibility to accompany the trip in the driver's cab.
