Bahnhof Rekawinkel

Der Bahnhof Rekawinkel befindet sich in der gleichnamigen Ortschaft im Gemeindegebiet von Pressbaum am Hauptkamm des Wienerwaldes.

Rekawinkel station is located in the village of the same name in the municipality of Pressbaum on the main ridge of the Vienna Woods.

Since 2018, the listed station has been shining in new splendor, albeit in its old guise, as the historic walls remained, but underwent modernization and now offer barrier-free and comfortable access to the rail services along the Westbahn line. The passenger passageway and the elevator systems promise a pleasant stay at the train station, which was put into operation as early as 1858. A plus in comfort is also offered with the digital train destination displays and the installed ticket vending machine.

50 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are provided at the connected Park & Ride facility, and more than 25 bicycles can be accommodated in the equipped Bike & Ride station.

Express trains of the S50 to Neulengbach as well as to Vienna Westbahnhof are served every half hour.
Connecting buses to St. Christophen, Neulengbach, Tullnerbach and Purkersdorf stop directly from the station.
