St. Valentin train station

Train station

Description

The centrally located St. Valentin station was extensively renovated between 1998 and 2002 and since then presents itself barrier-free and modern. In addition to the ÖBB travel center in the station hall, it is also possible to purchase tickets via one of the two ticket vending machines installed on site.

Thanks to the Park & Ride facility opposite the reception building, which can be used free of charge with a valid ticket, changing to the train is easy. The generously equipped waiting area with public toilets, a tobacconist and a snack bar is a pleasant way to pass some of the waiting time.

A total of seven tracks have been laid to handle rail traffic, with two more for through trains. Thanks to monitors and notices in each of the waiting areas, as well as loudspeaker announcements, passengers are always well informed.

Line connections
