Staatz station is located in the market town of the same name in the district of Mistelbach. A ticket vending machine has been installed in the glazed waiting bunk for ticket sales and, based on current timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements, rail passengers are continuously informed about rail operations here.
More than 118 parking spaces for cars and mopeds have been installed at the spacious Park & Ride Station to enable passengers to easily transfer to the train. The Bike & Ride Station has space for almost 30 bicycles.
Line connections
- Regional and regional express trains run along the Laaer Ostbahn line to Laa an der Thaya and Vienna Liesing.
- Likewise trains of the Viennese rapid-transit railway line S7 find to the airport Vienna station and Laa an der Thaya,
- as well as trains on the route of the Viennese rapid transit line S2 to Mödling and Vienna Liesing connect here.

Staatz Castle Ruins
The impressive Staatz Castle Ruins are visible from afar and can be reached on foot from the train station in about half an hour. The ruins can be visited free of charge, in the course of guided tours of the ruins you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the imposing castle complex.
At the foot of the Staatz cliff, below the Staatz castle ruins, is the Felsenbühne Staatz, which with 1,200 seats is one of the largest open air venues. With the fascinating rocky backdrop, a visit to the stage complex as part of the varied musical programme is an unforgettable experience.
