Station city Haag

Stadt Haag station is located about 2.5 kilometres outside the municipality in the western part of the Mostviertel region.

After the renovations of the station in 2014 and 2016, the two platforms of the modernly designed stop are completely barrier-free accessible due to the two lifts. Thanks to the monitors in the waiting berths and the loudspeaker announcements, passengers are sufficiently informed about the current rail traffic.

More than 120 parking spaces for cars and 15 mopeds in the Park & Ride facility, as well as the covered Bike & Ride station for more than 55 bicycles, make it easy to transfer to the train.

Route information

The Stadt Haag stop is located along the old route of the Westbahn. Since 2001, the "Neue Westbahn" has been running northwards through the approximately 6.5 kilometre long Siebergtunnel.

Regional trains to St. Valentin and Amstetten are served by the Stadt Haag station.
Regional express trains to Vienna are also offered at peak times.
Bus connections to Steyr are available from the station forecourt.

Starting point

The popular Haag Zoo can be reached in less than 30 minutes on foot from the Stadt Haag railway station. Right next to the impressive Salaberg Castle with its baroque bathhouse lies this natural recreation area for young and old. The way to the zoo is signposted from the train station Stadt Haag.
