Station Furth-Palt

Furth-Palt station is located along the Krems railway line. The historic station building is largely in its original condition and serves as a backdrop for the stop, which has been operated as a central platform since 2006. By means of timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements, travellers are well informed about the current rail connections.

Thanks to the directly connected Park & Ride facility, space has been created for 55 cars. Likewise, 23 bicycles find a suitable parking space at the Bike & Ride station on site.

Connections:

• Regional trains to Krems an der Donau and Horn as well as to the St. Pölten main station are connected.
• Bus connections to Paudorf, Krems an der Donau, Höbenbach and Herzogenburg are only a 5-minute walk away.

History

In former times, the reception building, which was also built in 1889, housed a waiting room and a small service apartment in addition to the dispatcher's office. In the upper part of the two-storey building there were further apartments. Today the building is used exclusively for residential purposes.
