Rustic and inviting like the route of the Waldviertelbahn itself, the reception building at Groß Gerungs station was designed and exists as the final stop of the nostalgic narrow-gauge railway in the Lower Austrian Waldviertel.

• The nostalgic trains of the Waldviertelbahn to Gmünd start and end here.
• In a few minutes walk you can reach the bus stop for connecting buses to Zwettl.

In the nearby motor park Xundwärts balance, strength, speed and endurance are put to the test. On the way there you pass the Sleeping Beauty Park. On the spacious playground, young and old will find many stations to let off steam and take a deep breath.
