Description

In the northwestern Waldviertel in the district of Gmünd is the demand station Kleinpertholz. The rustic reception building is embedded in the local landscape of the Waldviertel and is used by the adventure trains on request.

Route information

  • On the branch line of the Waldviertelbahn the Wackelstein Express runs from Alt-Nagelberg to Heidenreichstein. The adventure train with the "Jausenwagerl" is operated by the Waldviertler Schmalspurbahn Verein and offers varied and imaginative excursions not only during the high season, but all year round. A ride on the nostalgic train can also be rented for a very personal event.

Gallery Zeh

In the village Kleinpertholz you can visit the gallery Zeh. In addition to the works of the painter Franz Zeh, the objects of the regional artist Mannhard Zeh are exhibited in the local premises as well as in a contemplative sculpture park. In the equipped glass studio, glass and mirror creations by regional artists are presented and offered for sale.
