Description

The recently modernized Langenlebarn station is located in the town of the same name in the Tullnerfeld region of Lower Austria on the Danube. The platforms can be reached barrier-free by means of underpasses and lifts. Sanitary facilities, ticket machines and well-maintained waiting areas round off the customer-friendly services offered by the railway. Likewise, 20 parking spaces for cars and mopeds, as well as over 55 bicycle parking spaces are made available to train passengers.

Line connection

  • The Langenlebarn stop is located along the Franz-Josefs-Bahn line.
  • Express trains of the line S40 to Tulln an der Donau and to Franz Josefs Bahnhof to Vienna stop here.
  • During rush hours trains of the S40 to St. Pölten are offered.
  • Connecting buses to Krems an der Donau and to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof are available.

On the family-friendly route "Donau.Spuren.Langenlebarn" along the Danube there are lots of exciting secrets to discover. 12 exciting experience stations are offered on about 2.6 km of well paved path and invite you to participate and marvel.

Tip: Finally, a visit to the Floh inn is worthwhile, where regional culinary delights and spicy herbs meet original wines.

Brumowski Air Base

The town of Langenlebarn is probably best known for its historic Brumowski air base. The military airfield was built as early as 1939 and is still home to the Federal School of Aviation Technology. On one of the offered "open days" you get a particularly good insight into the impressive happenings on site.
