Station Tullnerfeld
Train stationDescription
Modern, innovative and barrier-free throughout - this is how the Tullnerfeld station, which was only built in 2012, was designed. With the construction of the station in the Tullner Basin, not only was a central transport hub created, but an appealing environment was also created for numerous local suppliers, which in turn ensures a pleasant stay in the station. Digital train destination displays, glazed lifts, as well as sanitary facilities and heated waiting rooms are all part of the top equipment - two ticket vending machines were installed in the passage hall.
In order to make it much easier for travellers to transfer to the train, sufficient parking facilities have been created with the 1175 parking spaces in the Park & Ride facility. The Bike & Ride Station offers covered accommodation for more than 130 bicycles.
Tip: In the months from April to mid-November, bicycles are available for hire at the nextbike rental station at Tullnerfeld station - for more details, visit the website www.nextbike.at/de/niederoesterreich or download the nextbike app.

Cycling through Lower Austria
The extensive Tullner Basin offers nature lovers and leisure time enthusiasts several possibilities to capture the wonderful landscapes that the region has to offer. The Tullnerfeld Cycle Path, for example, leads along 72 km of largely asphalted paths, past quaint villages and idyllic orchards, past castles and vineyards, and is also easy to complete in sections due to the good connection to the railway.
A somewhat shorter tour is the Great Tulln Cycle Path. The family-friendly route takes about 1.5 hours along the Große Tulln from Neulengbach to the garden city of Tulln and also offers plenty of opportunities to indulge in culinary delights along the entertaining route.
