On the trail of the Romans
In Roman times, the municipality of Zeiselmauer was considered an important location for securing the northern border. Impressive buildings and numerous records remind and document this exciting epoch and exactly this can be best explored on a tour through times long past. The signposted Roman tour starts at Kirchenplatz, which can be easily reached after a short walk from Zeiselmauer-Königstetten railway station. The entertaining tour ends with a visit to the Römerhalle (Roman Hall), where a considerable collection of exhibits can be viewed.
Tip: In the Römerstuben guests are spoiled with down-to-earth home cooking - with the good conscience of always paying attention to the regional origin of the products.
