Train station Kirchberg am Wagram

The large reception building at Kirchberg am Wagram station welcomes its guests amidst the idyllic landscapes of Lower Austria's Weinviertel region. In addition to the ticket vending machine for purchasing tickets, the waiting rooms also include a sanitary area.

The spacious Park & Ride facility offers space for almost 390 vehicles. The Bike & Ride Station provides secure parking for 95 bicycles.

• The station Kirchberg am Wagram is located on the line "Absdorf - Hippersdorf - Krems an der Donau", this section is also called "Krems branch", because it is a wing line of the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Bahn.
• Regional express trains to Krems an der Donau and to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof in Vienna stop here.
• In front of the station is a bus stop with connecting buses to Hollabrunn, Großweikersdorf as well as buses to the interior of the market town of Kirchberg am Wagram.

Only a 20-minute walk from the train station Kirchberg am Wagram you will find the market place in the centre of the village. Numerous shops tempt you to stroll around and the pilgrimage church of Maria Trost is a splendid backdrop.

If you walk a little further north, you will reach the Alchemist's Park , an idyllic park with an enormous variety of edible plants, which can be discovered during an enjoyable walk. Adjacent is the huge playground, which provides variety and adventure for young and old.

Tip: Visit the "Kirchberger Naschmarkt". Here you will find culinary delights and seasonal delicacies from regional producers every Saturday with the backdrop of the municipality's traditional market square.
