Train station Laa a. d. Thaya
Train stationDescription
Laa an der Thaya station is located in the north of the Waldviertel. The last stop before the Czech Republic has been modern and barrier-free since 2016. The elaborately designed, completely glazed pedestrian crossing with three integrated lifts, which not only ensures an additional aspect of safety when using the railway facilities, also serves as a connection between two districts in Laa an der Thaya and is therefore also a significant comfort factor for residents.
The sanitary facilities and the waiting room can still be used in the original reception building. Thanks to timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements, passengers are always well informed about current rail traffic. With more than 180 parking spaces for cars and almost 120 bicycle stands, nothing stands in the way of a comfortable transfer to the train.
