Train station Schönau Dorfwirt

In the north of Lower Austria, along the tourist-led Waldviertelbahn, lies the Schönau Dorfwirt station. The route of the northern branch stretches from Litschau to Gmünd through the tranquil Waldviertel. Tickets can be purchased directly online or on the trains.

Directly at the station is the namesake of the stop: the Schönauer Dorfwirt. Regional home cooking and Waldviertel delights await you right next to the Waldviertelbahn.

• The Schönau Dorfwirt stop is located along the northern section of the Waldviertel narrow gauge railway.
• If required, the nostalgic trains of the Waldviertelbahn to Gmünd and Litschau stop here.
• A few minutes walk away is the bus station with connecting buses to Litschau and Gmünd.
