The beautiful, large reception building at Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs station is located in the town of the same name in western Lower Austria. A ticket vending machine has been set up on site, also available are publicly accessible sanitary facilities.
Over 100 parking spaces for cars and mopeds in the adjoining Park & Ride facility make it easy to transfer to the train. Space has been created for more than 40 bicycles in the Bike & Ride station.

The Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs station is located along the route of the Rudolfsbahn. In addition, the trains of the Citybahn Waidhofen run at this station.
- Regional trains to Amstetten and Waidhofen an der Ybbs stop here.
- Furthermore, trains to St. Valentin and Vienna Westbahnhof are served.
- The trains of the Citybahn Waidhofen can also be reached on site.
- Connecting buses to Scheibbs, Lunz am See, Kastenreith and Kleinreifling are offered at the station forecourt.
City tour
A certain feeling of the Middle Ages always accompanies visitors to the enchanting town of Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs. While the old town is transformed every Saturday into an array of regional delicacies, after only a short walk you will find pure nature in the Ybbstal Nature Park. The historical walls of the town tell volumes. What the seven towers tell us is best learned during a guided tour of the town.
Tip: The town tower is not only a popular starting point for many tours and guided tours of the town, it also houses the exhibition "Life 100 years ago".
Ybbstalradweg
If you prefer to pedal to capture plenty of Mostviertel charm, hop on the Ybbstalradweg. The family-friendly route leads from Ybbs a. d. Donau to Lunz am See and is always accompanied by the soothing sound of the Ybbs River.
