Description

The Wiener Neudorf stop of the Badner Bahn is centrally located in the market town of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Mödling. In addition to a ticket vending machine, the double-tracked station also offers numerous seats as well as digital train destination displays, in order to keep the passengers of the railway always well informed about the ongoing transport operations. The rustic waiting house in the middle of the center also houses a tobacconist.

Wiener Neudorf station is located along the route of the Wiener Lokalbahn, also known as the Badner Bahn.

  • Here the trains of the Badner Bahn stop to Vienna, as well as further to Baden.
  • Attached to the station is also a bus station with connections to Mödling and Maria Lanzendorf.
  • A nextbike rental station is a good 5 minute walk away.

Eumig Museum

After a seven-minute walk from the station you can reach a real museum jewel: the Eumig Museum. Numerous exhibits and rare finds are on display here and represent the forerunners of many modern devices. Elaborately compiled and lovingly staged, the museum offers an exciting insight into the formative period of Eumig GmbH until 1982 on site.
