Mountainous distant views
Since 2015, the Hochkar mountain station has been the starting point for an experience of a special kind: on the 900 m long circular trail, which can be comfortably reached by lift, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain worlds and a certain thrill are guaranteed when looking down. A 60 m suspension bridge literally takes you to the highlight of the 360° Skytour.
Lower Austria's highest viewing platform is located at an altitude of 1,700 m above sea level and rises 8.5 m above the building form, at the top it goes 120 m into the depths. With optimal visibility, more than 100 two-thousand-metre peaks can be discovered along the way.
