10: Let's go and join the camels!
A truly amazing animal experience: In addition to the equestrian farm and the camel theatre, there are many other things to admire along the route.
The short, very family-friendlysection of the Traisen Valley cycle path all around St. Aegyd presents itself in an unusual manner. It is in the middle of the mountains but is still relatively flat. Here you will find lots of nature (it is the most densely wooded region of Austria) and there are still lots of good stops for refreshments and playgrounds.
On your bikes, you will definitely come across lots of animals – local ones such as horses and cats at the Reiterbauernhof Maho[equestrian farm], as well as very exotic ones in the Kameltheater und Weißen Zoo in Kernhof[camel theatre and white zoo]: In addition to the camels, who put on a‑ play, you can marvel at white tigers, snow leopards and Albino kangaroos.
Distance: 12 km (there and back)
Altitude difference: 200 m slight incline, no crossing with main roads
suitable for children aged 6 and up
