Past imperial eagles, deer, storks and rare amphibians: Along the March-Thaya Floodplains there is a lot to be experienced. The river landscape with the most number of species in Austria is one of the most fascinating floodplain areas of Central Europe and is a popular excursion destination for families.
Along the route, you will discover places to swim, some animals, fragrant wheat fields and meadows, refreshments in the Kellergasse, fun and games on children’s playgrounds, interesting bird watching hides and viewing platforms, concerts held by frogs and co. and have the opportunity to experience bird ringing live at the right time. You can get on the North railway for a comfortable journey to and from home.
