11: To the beach of the Pielach
On the right the Mariazellerbahn, on the left the Pielach and in between many playgrounds and swimming areas: This makes cycling really fun!
Pielach is one of the most natural and cleanest rivers of Austria – fortunately there are many opportunities to jump into the cool waters on the route from Hofstetten to Rabenstein. The two great advantages of the route: It faithfully follows the Mariazellerbahn railway, which can be accessed to shorten or lengthen the journey. And the third big bonus is that there are lots of adventures along the route, e.g. a treasure hunt, a raft trip across the Pielach and a visit to Westerndorf.
