Eingebettet in die sanfte Landschaft des Nibelungengaus steht die Donau Lodge – direkt am Flussufer. Diese Ruhe, wenn man einfach nur die vorbeiziehenden Schiffe beobachtet und in Gedanken mit ihnen auf Reisen geht. Oder wenn man den Blick über das sanft hügelige Donautal bis ins Waldviertel schweifen lässt. Die Lage bietet sich aber auch fürs Aktivsein an, zum Beispiel zum Radfahren, Wandern oder für eine Zillenfahrt. Hat man genug erlebt, zieht man sich ins komfortable Zimmer zurück, am besten mit Balkon. Damit man den Blick auf die Donau auch hier nicht missen muss.

Der Donauradweg führt direkt am Haus vorbei, gleichzeitig ist Ybbs Start- oder Zielpunkt des romantischen Ybbstalradwegs. Vor Ort können E-Bikes, Fahrräder und E-Scooter ausgeborgt werden, um die beiden beliebten Radwege zu erkunden.
