De Daniels im Aggsteinerhof

Restaurant

Description

The dining garden of the Aggsteinerhof once again occupies a special place in a Wachau bursting with such idyllic places. At the foot of the picturesque ruins of Aggstein Castle, directly on the Danube and shaded by old chestnut trees, it is one of the most beautiful in the region. Alternatively, there is the modern fireplace room and the traditional hunter’s parlour with its wood-beamed ceiling – both also with a magnificent view of the Danube.
Chef Hanna Kloihofer conjures up outstanding Austrian classics such as roasted knuckle of pork or Viennese goulash using carefully selected seasonal and regional products, and with her creative ideas surprises guests with new interpretations of traditional dishes such as cold apricot soup or saddle of venison and damson skewers.
