Café-Eis-Pizzeria Donauprinzessin

The Donauprinzessin is open from the beginning of March to the beginning of November and is centrally located on the B3 main road opposite the Spitz-Arnsdorf passenger ferry. We are located directly along the Danube cycle path, the ticket offices of the DDSG Blue Danube Schifffahrt as well as the BRANDNER Schiffahrt are only a few steps away from us. It is a five-minute walk to the piers and the railway station. The bus stops of the VOR (Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region) are directly in front of our business on the B3.

The food on offer ranges from homemade pizzas, changing seasonal dishes, pastries and ice cream from the in-house ice cream factory JauliMuh.

Our passion is artisan ice cream. Whether semi-frozen, gelato or ice cream, the production of our homemade frozen ice cream requires the use of impeccable natural products such as water, milk, cream, sugar, egg yolks and first-class flavouring ingredients such as fruit, vanilla, nuts and chocolate. Throughout the season, we create new ice-cream cups and change our offer at the ice-cream counter according to the season and regional products.

In order to be able to offer our guests first-class and high-quality confectionery, we rely on over 175 years of experience of the Hagmann family from Krems. Whether Wachau cake, apricot soufflé slice or Kalmuck cake, we are sure that there is something for every sweet tooth!

Since 1988, we have been serving pizzas in our restaurant, which we have specialised in. We always want to surprise and spoil our guests with new creations.

We have 25 seats in the restaurant, 20 seats in the winter garden and 70 seats on the terrace with a view of the Danube.
