At Gasthof Martinek in Baden, the main actors at the cooker usually have one thing in common: they all have a regional origin. Landlady Gabriele Martinek takes care of the shopping herself. Short delivery distances and knowledge about the origin of the products ensure a sustainable taste experience for the guest. Chicken and turkey are supplied by Hermine Wech's farm. The pig thrives magnificently in the Tullnerfeld. The inn is famous for the ALMO Beiried onion roast and Martinek's Bierbratl. The latter is delicately marinated with malt beer and honey and served with bread dumplings and warm bacon and cabbage salad.

The history of the house dates back to 1912. If it was run as a department store at the time, a new business model followed with the Martinek Inn, which placed culinary delights at the centre. Little by little, the offer was expanded. Today, the inn presents itself in a contemporary way - but does not forget the traditional values. The inn at the foot of the Helenental offers a cosy ambience and meets all the requirements of a classic inn with its parlour, guest room and banqueting hall. The friendly service staff deserve praise. In addition to the culinary focus, guests with an affinity for culture also get their money's worth in Baden. The theatre, casino and summer arena provide a fine cultural offering.
