St. Georgen/Reith
St. Georgen am Reith lies between Hollenstein and Göstling in the Ybbstal Alps. The municipality belongs to the district of Amstetten and lies directly at the heart of the Ybbstal cycle path. Many cyclists therefore come to the Kogelsbach Cycle Path for refreshment. Those who prefer downhill biking will only need a few minutes to reach the Bikepark Königsberg.
St. Georgen am Reith also has a lot to offer in winter: Both the Hochreit cross-country skiing centre and the Hochkar ski area are just a few kilometres away. In addition, the Riesenlehen ski lift is a small but fine ski area in the village. Winter sports enthusiasts can relax in the Ybbstal brine bath in neighbouring Göstling an der Ybbs.
